Mary is a successful Akita breeder who has been involved with the breed since 2002 producing many Champions and Specialty Winners.
She is a Rally Judge as well as Trick Dog Evaluator and CGC Judge.
"My proudest achievements include a CDX title on my Akita; being invited to Westminster; an invitation to the Akita Club of America Top Twenty; winning Select dog At Westminster; as well as achieving a Gold Grand Championship for one of my top winners. All of these achievements were accomplished completely owner-handled"

Farmgirl, math teacher, financial advisor, dog trainer, retired,because I like dogs better than people.
My love for Akitas started in the mid 80's when I put a CD on an "OBJ" dog that belonged to a client. My dogs thereafter have always been Akitas.
My goals were to find whatever my dogs love to do whether it's hang with me, show, do obedience (ha!) rally, barnhunt, agility, scent-work
or fast cat.
We try it all! I am thrilled that HoneyBear (the pinto) earned her Versatility title and Rusty (the pinto) earned her his Versatility Excellent title, showing this breed is capable of so much.
